Exclusive new Babu mp3's

On June 8th 2009, Babu recorded a soundtrack to a script by Jolene Cartmill.  The music was composed and improvised to different scenes in the script.

The idea was to keep things simple and lo-fi in the recording process - so the whole album was recorded in one room, with 4 microphones and no soundproofing.

This all resulted in what Babu compiled as a seven track album titled Songs For A Film.

Mastered by the illustrious Fletcher Beadon of African Dope, with an awe-inspiring cover designed by Ed Babb.

The film is yet to be released, and we will keep you posted as developments are made.

In the meantime, you can download free, exclusive mp3's of the unreleased Songs For A Film as well as the cover art by clicking on the Contact Us tab and checking the Become A Member box before sending us a message.  This will notify us, and in a few days we will issue you with a password allowing you access to our restricted area for exclusive free downloads, sneak previews and occasional news letters.

Note: Songs For A Film was a side project, improvised recording.  Babu will not be performing or releasing hard copies of the material from the album at any point.  It is available exclusively on this site for fans and music lovers.  It will however be in Jolene Cartmill's film at a later date...
